Human or Robot – What’s the Difference?

Recently 300 teenagers and teachers came to the University of Reading to discover just how like themselves robots can be:

Humanoid? Human-like? Or even … Human.

Professor Kevin Warwick began his presentation by explaining why he is sometimes called, ‘The First Cyborg.’

The Rat Brain Robot

Professor Warwick is the inventor of the ‘Rat Brain Robot’ – a robot that has a biological brain grown from … (you guessed) rat brain cells. As he explains, his research is not only gripping, it’s also very useful with applications already that can help some people with Parkinson’s disease.
